Waterloo Center for the Arts Scholorships
The Waterloo Center for the Arts and the Friends of the Art Center are now accepting applications for the Raymond T. Forsberg and Marilyn Anne. Hurley Memorial Scholarships. (Each in the amount of $1,000) for Visual Arts. To be eligible for these tuition scholarships, applicants must currently be a graduating senior attending a high school within a 35-mile radius of Waterloo who desires to pursue a post-secondary degree in the visual arts.
Students must submit a completed application, current high school transcript, official SAT or ACT scores, an essay, two letters of recommendation and a portfolio. Jurors will then select two/three candidates based upon the aforementioned criteria.
Application forms available online at waterloocenterforthearts.org. All applicants and application materials are due to the Waterloo Center for the Arts no later than Friday, April 26, 2024 at 5:00pm.
