Covid Rental Relief Program
Waterloo Community Development’s Covid Rental Relief program provides up to three months of rental assistance, due to a COVID-19 hardship. Eligible applicants must:
- Reside in Waterloo
- Have not applied or received any assistance from any other agency for the same months in which funding is being requested.
- Be able to demonstrate a COVID-related impact to their household income that has affected their ability to pay rent.
- Have household gross income below 80% of the area median income, see limits below.
- Complete an application and provide required documentation
- Section 8 Units are not eligible
All rental payments will be paid directly to the landlord upon approval.
