Sealed proposals will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at her office in the City Hall of the said City on the 4th day of October, 2018 until 1:00 p.m. for the construction of the FY 2019 SIDEWALK REPAIR ASSESSMENT PROGRAM – ZONE 8, Contract No. 958, as described in detail in the plans and specifications now on file in the Office of the City Clerk.

Receipt and Opening of Proposals 1.0.1 All proposals must be received in a sealed envelope in City Hall (date and time stamped) by Friday, October 26, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. (our clock), Central Time, in order to be considered. City Hall is located at 715 Mulberry St, Waterloo, Iowa. Proposals sent electronically or via facsimile will not be accepted. The mailing container or envelope shall be plainly marked on the outside with the notation ´SEALED RFP FOR RATH ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, and the name of the company submitting the proposal.

The Waterloo Historic Preservation Commission was awarded a Civil Rights Grant from the National Park Service, to conduct a multi-faceted project to document and preserve the Civil Rights history of the City of Waterloo. The Waterloo Historic Preservation Commission is now requesting any Architectural Historian and/or Historian that meets the Department of Interior Standards who is interested in working with the Commission on this project to submit bids.
