Performs general maintenance and custodial duties at the Waterloo Center for the Arts (WCA) including opening/securing and general supervision of the building on evening and weekend shifts. Oversees events as directed by the Facilities Services Manager and Events Coordinator, setting up/tearing down for in-house and rental events at WCA and RiverLoop facilities, and serving as a resource person, anticipating and responding to the questions and needs of patrons and other staff members. Assists with supervising support maintenance workers including those working under various community service and employment programs.

Skilled technical position responsible for installing, repairing and general maintenance of plant equipment, machinery and facilities at the Pollution Control Plant and City lift stations. The work is performed under the general direction of the Maintenance Foreman and Waste Management Services Director or Assistant Director, but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment. No supervisory responsibilities.
Professional position responsible for marketing and managing meeting/event facilities and services for the Waterloo Center for the Arts, RiverLoop Amphitheatre and RiverLoop Expo Plaza. Oversees and maintains a master events calendar, coordinates all aspects of events including contract negotiations with renters, event budgets and coordination, creates new events, recruits, hires and supervises facilities/event staff and manages volunteers. Manages beverage licenses and service at RiverLoop Expo Plaza, RiverLoop Amphitheatre and Waterloo Center for the Arts. The work is performed under the general direction of the Culture & Arts Director but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. Supervises paid and volunteer facilities maintenance employees.
Semi-skilled maintenance position responsible for the completion of a variety of maintenance and labor activities on property and housing owned and/or operated by the Waterloo Housing Authority. The work is performed under the general direction of the Inspector/Maintenance Supervisor and Waterloo Housing Authority Director, but leeway is given for the exercise of independent judgment. May direct the work of temporary or seasonal employees.
The Waterloo Public Library is seeking to fill two janitorial positions, 12-20 hours per week. The qualified candidates would work 4-hour evening shifts after 4:30 p.m., and as late as midnight, depending on the night of the week, Sunday through Saturday.

The work is performed under the general direction of the Waste Management Director, but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. Performs receptionist/secretarial tasks for the Waterloo Center for the Arts. This position is supervised by the Facilities Services Manager. This is a part-time position.
The Phelps Youth Pavilion is an extension of the WCA Education Department. The Gallery Assistant will work in partnership with the PYP Manager and Education Coordinator to facilitate fun and engaging art-based activities at the WCA and PYP. Hours and work schedule are flexible and based on individual needs.
Applicant must be able to perform general sales duties for the Waterloo Center for the Arts Gift Store. This position is supervised by the Gift Store Manager. This is a part-time position.
